Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein Peptide (35-55), mouse, rat
Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) is found exclusively in the CNS, where it is localized on the surface of myelin and oligodendrocyte cytoplasmic membranes and has been implicated as an important autoantigen in multiple sclerosis (MS). This peptide induces severe chronic experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis in transgenic mice.
